How to get to Lismore

The 4WD Caravan Camping & Marine Show is held at the Lismore Showground, Alexandra Street, Lismore.

Travelling to Lismore

By Car
Lismore is located on the Bruxner Highway, which joins the far northern New South Wales countryside to the coast. The main coastal road is the Pacific Highway, and the turn off routes to Lismore are clearly signposted.

Lismore is 1 ½ hours drive from the Gold Coast, 2 ½ hours from Brisbane, and 9 hours drive from Sydney.

Driving Directions
Use Lismore City Council’s online travel planner for the latest and easiest way to plan your trip. Type in the location you are travelling from and the location you want to travel to. The planner will design the best driving route and map the journey for you.

By Plane
Lismore airport is located just 5 minutes drive to the CBD with taxi, limousine and hire car options available. Lismore is serviced by Regional Express Airlines offering passengers up to four return services every day. www.rex.com.au

In addition both Jetstar and Virgin Blue fly regularly to Ballina/Byron Airport which is only 25 minutes east of Lismore, and the Gold Coast Airport which is 1 ½ hour north of Lismore.

By Coach
Several coach operators provide services to Lismore from major centres throughout Australia. For details, visit Premier Motor Service, and Greyhound/McCafferty’s

By Train
CountryLink services are available from Sydney to Casino, with pick ups at regional towns along the way. A CountryLink bus takes travellers from Casino to Lismore. Phone 13 22 32 or visit  www.countrylink.info

There is ample FREE secure parking available on site, close to all entry gates.
